Last day of 1st grade!

(June 13th)

I can’t believe Eli has finished another year of school! He is getting way too old. We have loved having him in his 1st/2nd combo class with Mrs. G, and he has really enjoyed being challenged by the 2nd grade work. We’re not sure what the next year will bring when it comes to a combo class or not, but we’re looking forward to moving on up!

Here is Eli on his last day. He was so, so excited to be finished with the school year! He had been talking about it for a few weeks and it finally came. He will miss his friends, but he’s looking forward to summer!

As a comparison, here he was close to the first day of first grade! (I couldn’t find a first day photo, which is weird, but I’m sure I have one somewhere…)

He sure is growing up! :)
