Oh man, I'm too excited. I learned this week that I'm going to be published in the April/May 2008 issue of Digital Scrapbooking magazine.
This is the first layout that I've ever had published, and I'm just tickled pink. I've been submitting since February, so you can imagine my relief in now knowing that my layouts are actually good, lol!
They are using my Gelato Fantastico layout, so make sure you look for it next spring! :) I can't put it up here because of the public-ness, but I promise, it's a cute one.

Ok, now it's your turn for a little bit of time in the lime light! You amaze me with your talents. Who knew that you had such creativity bottled up inside you? I would have never guessed you would thrive so much in the field of photography and graphic design! I am so lucky to have 2 daughters (so far) that are amazing at seeing things through a lens and creating such wonderful art. You deserve this, you work hard and you balance all the plates that are spinning in your life pretty well. I am so proud of you, Laurel. Just keep in mind that our trials can become our greatest strengths and we can only build and test our true character by experiencing some of the sandpaper in life. You give me a payday everyday by the way you are living your life and the person you have become. Thank you, I love you so much. You are awesome and I hope you know that. :)
