As this post is hitting the blog, we’ll be with E while he undergoes an outpatient procedure. I’m not going to lie – I’m a little nervous! I mean, sure, it’s a routine thing (getting his tonsils/adenoids taken out as well as getting tubes put in his ears) but he’s never been under general anesthesia before and I’m just a tad worried. I’m sure he’ll be fine, but if you could spare a moment for a prayer or a good thought sent in our general direction, I would be so grateful.
I’ll make sure to update as soon as we know he’s doing okay. The next week or so is going to be rough with recovery, so we’ll be hanging at home a lot.

Praying for an easy surgery and a quick and easy recovery. Surgery on our littles is harder on mom and dad than it is on them ... I've been through it with Kalyssa's eye surgery last year. I also pray he sleeps a lot for you for the next couple of days. It'll be easier on both of you. I've had friends with kids who didn't sleep well afterwards and it was hard on everyone. Big hugs Mama! It'll be okay.
