Is it in the genes?

Caution: Possible rant ahead. Proceed at your own risk.

So after being gone for three weeks, I get home to three bathrooms full of this. With a new roll either sitting on top of the old one or on the counter next to it.

Even ones like this where you just have to pull off the cardboard and slap a new one on there!

Seriously, is this part of the Y chromosome or something? Because if I had left the house in the hands of a woman, this would not have happened.

Anyone else annoyed by this? :)

haha...that's too funny...so many things about toliet paper rolls hit my pet peeves (like when the rolls go under instead of over- I always change them...lol) but to forget to change the roll...yeah must definitely be part of the Y chromonsome :)

yes, matt does it ALL the time! He refuses to put a new roll on (even when he's sitting in there for like an hour!!!)!!!

Replacing toilet paper rolls is one of those tasks, like making the bed, that we men, in our more highly evolved and enlightened state, recognize as hopelessly futile. It will just need to be repeated next week, so why bother? We have much more important things on our minds, so why waste cognitive cycles on such a vain Sisyphean task?

Fight the good fight, Nathan! Stand up for your gender! Solidarity, brother.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who had a husband who didn't replace the toilet paper either! Thank heavens it's not just happening at our house. :) It's super annoying!

Ah, Bill, what would Grandma think of your comments? Surely she raised you better than that!

But props to you for making me get out my dictionary. Props indeed.
