Oh man, this weekend I am sick. I mean, achy-sorethroat-chestcough-phlegm-headache-grossness sick. I hate feeling like that, just tired and non-functioning. I feel like I want to sleep for three days and not have to worry about anything. Too bad I can't stop working or cleaning my house or doing laundry. That's just a mom's life, right?
Luckily, Nathan has been really great, letting me veg when I can while he mostly takes care of Eli and makes sure I take some medicine. He even let me indulge a guilty pleasure...
Okay, before I tell you what it is, you have to remember that I am sick. Really sick. So feel sorry for me first so that you can't judge me! LOL. :) My guilty pleasure is watching Grey's Anatomy from the beginning of season one. You see, I've never really watched the show before, but it has always kind of intrigued me. The problem with those types of shows (like Lost or Alias) is that if you haven't watched it from the beginning, it's hard to follow all the twists and turns and relationship details that everyone in season three takes for granted as general knowledge. I had heard from various places that there was a "McDreamy" and such, but I wanted to see for myself. :)
SO, I've been watching Grey's Anatomy. And I like it. Feel free to start making fun of me at any time. :) Really, though, it's a great way to watch a TV show -- from the beginning to get all of the backstory and get caught up. I did the same thing with Lost when I first had Eli, and now I'm a diehard fan. So yeah, I'd recommend it.
Anyways, I'm also currently working on my sister's wedding invitations and trying to get my Primary music for tomorrow figured out. Plus, Nathan's been given a cool, new, secret calling. I can't say anything about it yet, but it's pretty major. So be looking out for that announcement as soon as I'm cleared to make it. :) Needless to say, I'm proud of him.
I hope that everyone else is having a great Memorial Day weekend! We'll spend Monday at the in-laws, so that will be fun. We even get to meet Janae's new friend-boy. Can't wait. :)

That is too funny! I too didn't get started watching Grey's until Last Season. I watched the first two seasons on DVD and man was it hard to go from that to watching the new episodes on TV!
